Cancer hospital will open in seven cities, including Jamshedpur-Ranchi

Now you will not need to go out to get cancer treatment. Tata Sons will open a 62-bed cancer hospital in Jamshedpur, Palamu, Dumka, Hazaribagh, Bokaro and Chaibasa in the seven cities of the state, including the cancer care center (hospital) and Jamshedpur in 153 beds in Ranchi. These hospitals will be on cancer at the medical colleges as oncology. Now patients of the serious nature of cancer will be treated here.  Medical colleges will also have cancer studies which will lead to the cancer doctors from the state. A blue print has been prepared to open a cancer hospital in the state. To open the Apex Center in Ranchi, 1.5 acres of land is required to open 23.5 acres of cancer and close to medical colleges. Uday Pratap of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department has written a letter to the Deputy Commissioners of nine districts to make available land for the Cancer Unit.

In this meeting, the government had asked the Tata Trust to open a cancer hospital for the treatment of state cancer patients.
