Due to the weakening of the rains in the catchment areas of Bihar and Nepal, floods in Kosi, Simanchal, Champaran and Sitamarhi have ceased. But in Gopalganj, the embankment on the river Gandak was broken again on Friday. Due to this district water was added to many villages of Saran district besides this district. Four people died due to drowning in the water. Combining this, 26 people have died due to floods in the past 24 hours in the province. On the other hand, there is a serious situation in the old Gandak and Bagmati river in Muzaffarpur and Samastipur. Due to breakdown of embankment in Ghanshyampur of Darbhanga, flood water is spreading in Sanghia block of Samastipur. The road collapsed on Friday near Madhubani Ghat in East Champaran, which caused breakage of Motihari-Pachidiyal road. Road connectivity of Madhubani-Sitamarhi, Shivar-Sitamarhi and Shivar-Motahari is still interrupted
